About

My name is Fabian Hoshino. I’m on the pursuit of becoming the best version of myself and getting the most out of life. I’m from Germany and live in Tokyo, Japan, now for almost 10 years.

I did very well in school but realized very soon that none of what they teach in school, prepares you actually for life.

How do you choose a career?

Then once you chose one, how do you become successful at work?

Wait, now I have to pay taxes? How does that all work and how do I manage my money?

Wow, work is really intense! How do I manage to stay healthy? What do I have to eat and do to live a healthy life?

All those questions kept bugging me and I started studying all of them going down the rabbit hole. The more I learned, the more I wanted to share what I learned with the people around me. When I started my first job in HR Consulting & Recruitment in Tokyo, I realized I had to put in a lot of hours at least in the beginning to become successful and I lived a “no excuses, no days off” philosophy. Obviously, in such a high pressure and stress environment maintaining health is key if you are in it for the long run. That lead me to look even more into how to eat healthy and how to get or stay fit. I’d been already going to the gym and working out religiously for many years at that point but it was a great opportunity to take also my health and fitness life to the next level.

Then I was earning money and was excited about saving and investing money. So I consulted successful executives, CEOs and business owners in my network to learn from the best how to grow my assets.

It doesn’t matter what profession you are in, how old you are or where you live, most of the things I listed above do affect you and there’s no way around it. I do not have the perfect answer for all scenarios but I am here to share with you what I have learned so you don’t have to make the same mistakes.
